Rewrite Your Story, Reclaim Your Power — A Workshop Designed for Transformation

When the Unthinkable Happens

We all have a breaking point.

Mine didn’t come when I found out I was pregnant just three weeks before high school graduation.
Not when my 14-year marriage ended with the confession of 22 affairs.
Not even when I watched my sons’ father get handcuffed—at their soccer game, in front of teammates and whispers.

It came on a rainy Tuesday night.

After clawing my way through college on food stamps, landing a job I was proud of, and finally finding stability—one car crash unraveled everything. A traumatic brain injury forced me into isolation, silence, and stillness. And in that darkness, I discovered something life-altering:

My story wasn’t over. It just needed a rewrite.

Introducing the REWRITE Framework

When life breaks you open, you have two choices:
Stay stuck in the story that happened to you—
or rewrite it into one that moves through you with power and purpose.

The REWRITE Framework is a 7-part process designed to help individuals reframe their pain, reclaim their voice, and rise stronger—whether they’re rebuilding after loss, leading through transition, or seeking a fresh start.

💡A Workshop Designed for Transformation

In one powerful day, participants move through three transformational phases:

1️⃣ Start With Their Heart

We begin by creating a safe, judgment-free space where participants open up about their wounds, trauma, and lived experiences.

2️⃣ Write Their Story

Using dozens of thoughtful prompts, we guide them in writing their personal stories—unlocking clarity, healing, and deeper insight.

3️⃣ Empower Their Voice

We train participants to shape and share their stories with purpose and impact—equipping them to become confident advocates, ambassadors, and leaders.

This isn’t just a writing workshop.
It’s a restoration experience.
One that builds emotional intelligence, deepens self-awareness, and strengthens identity through story.

🌱The REWRITE Framework

I – Inspire Others Through Your Journey
Impact others by sharing your story.

T – Triumph Over Setbacks

E – Elevate and Rewrite Your Story Daily
Envision a brighter future—and live like it’s already on the way.

🔥The Impact Is Real

This framework was recently delivered in partnership with the South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families, where formerly incarcerated fathers experienced deep healing and lasting transformation.

By the end of the workshop, they weren’t just telling their stories—they were standing taller, speaking clearer, and stepping forward as powerful advocates for the very program that helped them rewrite their lives.

their story becomes a catalyst for courageous leadership—
and a new legacy begins.

💬 Hear What Karriem Edwards Had to Say

"When we launched our Father Fellows program, we knew storytelling would be a key element—but we needed someone who could truly connect with our men, many of whom have experienced deep trauma. The moment I heard Hailey Evans share her own story, I knew she was the right person.

She immediately created a safe and judgment-free space. What surprised us most was how quickly the men opened up. We were initially concerned it might feel like ‘school’—but Hailey’s approach was anything but. Suddenly, they were writing, sharing, and reflecting like they were in a masterclass in self-expression.

Using her EPIC Framework, Hailey helped our fellows organize their thoughts, craft their stories with impact, and speak with clarity. And through her REWRITE Framework, she guided them on a deeper journey—showing them how to reclaim their narrative and transform their pain into purpose. She taught them that when life breaks you open, you have two choices: stay stuck in what happened, or rewrite it into something that moves through you.

We watched their confidence grow, their posture shift, and their voices strengthen. These men are now more than participants—they’re advocates and ambassadors for our mission. They’ll be sharing their stories across the state, inspiring others, and strengthening our connection with donors and community partners.

One of the fellows said it best: 'Thank you for the attention to detail in designing a program tailored to our needs.'

I would strongly recommend Hailey’s workshops to any organization focused on community impact, personal development, or systems-level change. Her training doesn’t just teach storytelling—it helps people heal, lead, and use their voice to create meaningful change."
