Hailey Evans knows what it means to face life’s unexpected challenges. At just 17, Hailey had her life mapped out—she graduated high school a year early and was ready to take on college as an honor student. But her dreams took an abrupt turn when, one month before graduation, she found out she was pregnant. Instead of pursuing college, she made a difficult decision: to marry her high school sweetheart and focus on raising her son, Andrew. At just 17, she put her own goals on hold, choosing to invest in her family, knowing that sacrifice would be best in the long run. Two years later, she welcomed her second son, Alex, and dedicated herself to her growing family.
After fourteen years of marriage, Hailey’s world shifted again when she became a single mother. One of the most humbling moments of her life came when she had to apply for food stamps and Medicaid to support her boys. But Hailey refused to let adversity define her. Instead, she made a bold decision: she would go back to school and get her degree—no, three degrees—all debt-free. Over the next five years, Hailey worked full-time to support her family while earning three college degrees through grants and scholarships. From 2014 to 2015, she received five prestigious university awards and became a sought-after speaker, representing the Office for Philanthropy and Women in Philanthropy and Leadership at Coastal Carolina University.
Today, Hailey lives in Anderson, South Carolina, with her husband, Tim Evans. Her son Andrew is a licensed commercial and residential builder, and her son Alex is married and training to become a pilot in the U.S. Air Force. But Hailey’s journey isn’t just about her own success—it’s about inspiring others to rise above their challenges.
Hailey has turned her personal story into a mission: to help others see that no matter where you start, you can achieve great things. She thrives on servant leadership, guiding others with vision and strategic planning while empowering them to unlock their full potential. Hailey knows that everyone has gifts, and her goal is to help people discover theirs, just as she did. She believes that every obstacle is an opportunity waiting to be transformed.

From Startup to Explosive Growth
In 2021, Hailey Evans and her husband, Tim, embarked on building their dream home, only to face a nightmare. The project quickly spiraled into chaos when the builder failed to assign a project manager, prompting Hailey to step in and take charge. Over the course of 17 grueling, Covid-extended months, she shed 20 pounds from stress but gained invaluable insights into the construction process, including how to manage tradespeople and streamline communication. This painful experience inspired her to make a difference in the industry by fixing the very gaps she encountered.
In 2023, Hailey launched Evans Custom Interiors with a mission to bridge the disconnect between builders and their clients during the often-overwhelming selections process. Her business skyrocketed from day one. Within just 12 months, her team completed 75 projects, generated over $200K in revenue, and expanded to a team of ten—all while maintaining a remarkable 30% net profit margin, despite Hailey having no formal interior design background. She achieved her goal of making her company self-managing, freeing her to pursue other passions.
During this time, Hailey became actively involved with the Home Builders Association of South Carolina, earning multiple Pinnacle and Bridge Awards for her innovative marketing and design skills.
Recognizing the broader issues within the construction industry—particularly the absence of efficient systems—Hailey launched a sister company, Strategies That Stick™. This venture was dedicated to providing leaders with the practical tools they need to streamline operations, boost sales, enhance employee retention, and drive long-term success.
She then specialized in offering full-suite marketing services to both nonprofit and for-profit organizations, recognizing that this is where her passion and skills could create the greatest impact. She loves watching organizations thrive through strategic marketing and a more focused, “lean” approach, helping leaders achieve their marketing goals without breaking the bank on ineffective strategies.
Before her entrepreneurial journey, Hailey managed 50 hospital staff across multiple locations, overseeing 20,000 patient registrations and admissions monthly while collecting $175,000 in point-of-service payments each month. Through strategic planning, process improvements, and fostering team morale, she quadrupled collections for the hospital’s Admitting Department—foreshadowing the systems-thinking approach that would later fuel her success as a business leader.
